The Green Ghana Day celebration was launched at Patoako Methodist basic school this morning 7 June 2024 at approximately 7:45 am. The Hon DCE and his management team together with Chiefs and Elders of the community graced the occasion.
The Hon DCE planted the first tree followed by the District Coordinating Director and the chief of patoako and others. In his address, he appealed to the community and teachers to protect the trees by fencing in order to fight against the adverse effects of climate change which has become a global challenge.
