The objectives of the registry unit are stated below;
- Centre of Administrative Documentations
- Receiving of all in-coming mails of the assembly
- Handling of assembly’s records and documents
- Dispatches all out-going corresponding’s of the assemblies
- Marriage registration and Certifications
- Registration of local business in the district
- Handling of correspondence among other MMDA’s, Co-ordinating councils and Ministries.
- Handling and storage of personnel files, departments and unit’s files
- Retrieving of letters
- Classification of Files
