In commemoration of Menstrual Hygiene Day, the Department of Social Welfare visited four Junior High Schools and a Vocational and Technical school to promote menstrual health and hygiene awareness, and donate sanitary pads to students in need on the 3rd of June, 2024.<\/p>\n
Objectives:

\n? Break down stigmas and taboos surrounding menstruation
\n? Provide access to safe and affordable sanitary products<\/p>\n
