On 17th October 2022, the BECE monitoring tour was undertaken by the District Chief Executive Hon. Willyevans Obiri Awuah at the twelve (12) examination centers in the district. He was accompanied by the District Coordinating Director Dr. John A. Nunya, District Education Director Madam Dorcas Brenda Asare and some key staffs from the assembly.
He urged candidates to be confident in the preparation they have been taken through by their teachers and not rely on any “Apor”. He encouraged them not to panic but write the exams in confidence and made the district proud.
He wished them well and hoped to see all of them in the senior high schools when the results are released and school selections done.
