In recognition of the fact that a sound mind resides in a healthy body and also to foster unity and cooperation between the staffs of the District Assembly and the citizenry as well as other institutions, a football team has been formed by the staff. The team is strictly made up of staff of the District Assembly.
Our inaugural match was played on the 9th September, 2021 with the opposing team being the teachers of the Aburaman Senior High School. The highly competitive game ended in a draw with the expectation of a return fixture sometime within the year.
