On Wednesday 6th of July, 2022, a scholarship award ceremony was held at the District Works Department Conference Hall to unveil the beneficiaries of the scholarship awards.
Royal Nursing is a college established in 2017 to foster knowledge and skills among the youth interested in Health Care delivery. It has been in operation for 6 years where it has been able to train numerous young men and women into the Health Care Delivery. Royal nursing in the UK is the proud sponsor of this scholarship to support the brilliant young men and women who are needy in accessing their Health Care education to boost the Health care delivery in the country.
Currently, they have 300 slots of scheme to the needy students in the area of General Nursing, Laboratory Technician and Midwifery. AAK has been fortunate to receive 35 members of the slots out of the 300 being awarded nationwide. It is on this note that the District Assembly held a short ceremony to officially give the scholarship award letters to the 35 beneficiaries in the district.
The program was graced by the planning officer Mr. Ernest Brew Paintsil, the IT officer Mr. Bernard Arthur, the Assistant Directors Mr. Frederick Mensah Brown, Mr. Isaac Ayemin and Miss Lily Naa Johnson and the Assistant planning officer Mr. Oscar Opoku Agyemang.
