BAKERY TRAINING PROGRAM

The Social Welfare Unit organized a bakery training program aimed to equip 40 persons with disability with the skills and knowledge required to work in a bakery, understanding of bakery operations and management and generate income for livelihood.

Introduction

The training was conducted by the Rural Street Team and Department of Social Welfare from the first quarter to fourth quarter at Abura Dunkwa, District Assembly premises. The training targeted individuals from the four zones in the District (Asebu zone, Ayeldo zone, Moree zone and Abura Dunkwa zone) who wants to learn bakery to generate income for their livelihood.

OBJECTIVES

The main objectives of the training were to:

  1. To provide participant with comprehensive understanding of bakery operations and management.
  2. To equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to produce high-quality bakeries.
  3. To provide participants with hands-on experience in commercial bakery setting.
