Central Expo 2023

Participants from Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District Assembly joined over 500 exhibitors at the 2023 Central Regional Expo which officially started on Monday, 28th August 2023 at the Adisadel school park.

The Central Regional Trade, Tourism and Business investment Fair was aimed at increasing global visibility for the Region as well as ensuring promotions, collaborations and revenue generation in the Region. In an address at the opening ceremony, the Central Regional Minister, Hon. Justina Marigold Assan noted that the 2023 exhibition held a special significance as it was being organized in partnership with TIAST Group West Africa from China, a leading organization dedicated to agricultural development and industrialization of agriculture.

 Touching on the theme, “Sustainable Business opportunities; Nurturing Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises in the Central Region”, Hon. Justina Marigold Assan indicated that the Expo was a follow-up of 2022 edition which gave opportunities to over 300 exhibitors from large, medium and small-scale enterprises, especially the private businesses, to get the exposure they needed to market their products and services.  The Expo held activities like exhibition of goods and services, District’s Day presentations where all the 22 MMDAs exhibited their rich cultures and the profiles of their Districts, Eating competition, Singing competition and Cooking competition.

Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District participated in most of the activities and performed excellently well. The Assembly also sent 10 exhibitors from the District to also showcase and sell their products. The Expo officially ended on Sunday the 2nd of September, 2023
