The election of the Presiding member took place on Thursday 30th September 2021. Hon Napoleon Nsarko Tawiah contested unopposed and recieved 42 votes out of 44 Assembly members and voting.
The DCE nominee, Hon. Willyevans Obiri Awuah was also confirmed on the same. Out of 44 Assembly members present and voting, 34 members voted YES while 10 voted NO. there were no rejected votes and the DCE nominee was then confirmed with a percentage rate of 77.27.
In their confirmation speeches, both the Hon. Presiding Member and the Hon. DCE pledged to effectively collaborate with Assembly Members and Staffs in ensuring that the District Assembly develops as it should.
