There was a regional launching of the TM1 under the one teacher one laptop initiative on the 2nd of February, 2022 at the Ghana Education Service, District Education Office.
We were privileged to have the Regional Director of Education, the District Chief Executive, the District Coordinating Director, the District Director of Education and the Regional Planning Officer of Education to grace the occasion.
All GES district staff were also present including headteachers and teachers working under the district. We had speeches from the Regional Director of Education, the District Chief Executive and the District Director of Education.
They told the teachers present to make good use of the TM1 laptop to improve teaching and learning in their respective schools and not the other way round. Teachers presents were happy with the initiative of giving them the laptops to help them in their teaching carrier.
