President John Dramani Mahama, in fulfilment of his campaign promise, has officially declared Republic Day, the 1st of July of every year, as Ghana’s official National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving.
At the District level, the Hon. DCE Daniel Mensah Wardy, District Coordinating Director Madam Tawakalitu Raji, Heads of Departments and Unit including other dignitaries held the Christian prayer at Ayeldu and the Muslim prayer at Pra Ewusi respectively.
