It is brought to the notice of all land owners in the AAK District that as prescribed in the Land Use and Spatial Planning Act 2016, Act 925, section 74 which states inter alia “Where a person seeks to dispose of plots in a large tract of land for which the District Spatial Planning Committee considers a local plan to be required, the person seeking to dispose of the land shall prepare a local plan before disposing of any of the plots”. Land owners are required to prepare and submit their local plans for approval before the plots can be disposed off (sold). Owners of land who are found selling plots without approved local plans will be seriously dealt with.
