The Social Welfare Unit in collaboration with the Disability Fund Management Committee organized a 3 days training on the 26th – 28th May, 2022 for 30 persons with disability (PWDs) on snacks and pastries production. In attendance were the Head of Social Welfare Unit Madam Yvonne Kwarah, Madam Casiah Danquah with the Community Development, Madam Ellen Osei Head of NCCE department and Elvis Agyei Mensah the secretary of the district branch of the Ghana Federation of PWDs among other dignitaries.
The content of the training are as follows; making of cakes, making different types of pie, pancakes, buff loaf, making different kinds of juices and smoothies, making ice creams, book/record keeping and finally developing a business plan.
