DPAT III PROJECTS
1. Construction of Drains and Filling of Road at Katakyiase
The project comprised the construction of drains with cover slabs and sub base filling of the road. The objective of the project was to improve drainage and prevent flooding in the community. Work commenced on 16th April 2021 and was substantially completed on 19th July 2021. The Project is already in use.
2. Construction of 1no. Culvert, 100m Drain and Shaping of 0.22km road at Brafoyaw
The project comprised the construction of a 1no. 900mm diameter pipe culvert, 100m, 900mm diameter drains, filling and shaping of road. The objective of the project was to reinstate the old road connecting Brafoyaw and Green Hill community. Work Started on 14th April 2021 and was completed before the end of the year. The unpassable road is now motorable and open for movement

3. Construction of CHPs Compound at Kwadeogya
The project is been undertaken to provide a befitting CHPS compound to replace the current accommodation used for health care services delivery in the community. The new facility has accommodation for two nurses, a consulting room, store room and a labour ward with a lie in/recovery room. The construction commenced on 14th April 2021 and has been completed. The facility has been handed over to the District Health Directorate and is in use.
4. Drilling and construction of 2no. Boreholes and establishment of 1no. Limited mechanised water system.
The project consists of the Drilling and Construction of 2no. hand pumped boreholes at Kojo Abem and Nsan and the establishment of a 1no Limited mechanized water system at Abura Dunkwa Bungalow. The project which started on 14th April 2021 has been completed and in use. The facility is expected to improve access to potable water supply in the District with over 500 direct beneficiaries.
