Water is live. But not every water is hygienic and safe for human consumption. It is therefore imperative for the Assembly to ensure the availability of potable water for all communities. With this objective, access to potable water in the year 2020 was improved with the provision of boreholes to over a dozen communities which hitherto relied on unhygienic ground water for human consumption. The communities include Old Odonase, Okyirku, Odonkwaa, Asebufokrom, Pekyerakyer/Ketekrom. Furthermore, with the support of donor organizations such as Action Against Rural Poverty and the Qatar Charity, Aframase, Twerenyame, Akokokrom and the Okomfo Hannah communities now have community boreholes.
