Training on Fruit Juice Processing

The Business Advisory Centre, Abura Asebu Kwamankese District organized a four-day practical training on fruit juice processing and Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) in partnership with Mastercard Foundation under the BizBox Project organized the AA2E Fruit Juice Processing from 18th to 21st August, 2026.

The training aimed at equipping participants, especially women, youth and PWDs with practical skills in fruit juice production to create jobs and promote local agribusiness.

The training was attended by 96 participants made up of youth, women groups, and PWDs drawn from communities within the district. The facilitator were Winifred Ofosu – Attah and Rebecca Amoah.

OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING

1. To train participants in hygienic fruit juice processing.
2. To equip participants with skills in value addition to reduce post-harvest losses.
3. To promote entrepreneurship and self-employment among youth and women.
4. To train participants on packaging, branding and marketing of fruit juice.
