The District Assembly distributed 5,000 coconut seedlings under the planting for export and rural development (PERD) program.
Supervising the distribution, the Hon. DCE Willyevans Obiri Awuah urged all the beneficiaries under this program to be committed to care for the seedlings to help its grow and flourish to benefit individuals involved and the district asa whole.
The beneficiaries also promised the Assembly and the Hon. DCE that they will do everything possible to grow the coconut seedlings and also help achieve its intended purpose.
