In commemoration of Menstrual Hygiene Day, the Department of Social Welfare visited four Junior High Schools and a Vocational and Technical school to promote menstrual health and hygiene awareness, and donate sanitary pads to students in need on the 3rd of June, 2024.
Objectives:
? Educate students about menstrual health and hygiene
? Break down stigmas and taboos surrounding menstruation
? Provide access to safe and affordable sanitary products
