On 13th of January 2022, The District Chief Executive Hon. Willyevans Obiri Awuah and the District Co-ordinating Director Dr. John A. Nunya met with the Deputy Transport Minister Hon. Hassan S. Tampuli and 2 reps from the office of the presidency, the Director of Ministry of Transport , the Site Engineer, the Assembly member Hon. Ben Arkoh to monitor and inspect the progress of work at the landing beach and also to perform an impact assessment of the project. And also to interact and seek opinions and views of the local residents and the general public.
